No, I don't believe in astrology :-) I've not heard about the ECM communicating faster than nerves. Is there any research on that?

tensegrity - a conflict of models

Personally I consider the body to be a bunch of tensegrous components coupled by non-tensegrous connections, so I couldn't answer questions 1 or 2.
