Funny, I thought journalists were supposed to be regulated. Judging by this 'article' that regulation is not very effective.

Any decisions yet? :)
Glad you've made the choice to study osteopathy, it is a course that is really hard work but worth every second of the stress and huge work loads! It can be a really hard decision choosing between the uni's. There are differences between the two uni's however which ever choice you make will be the right one. One of the main differences is that BCOM offers a course and diplma in naturopathy as part of the course. Whilst the course is not as naturopathic as it traditionally has been it also includes a large amount on nutrition which i feel has made a big difference to the way i practise osteopathy as well as live my own life. Dissection is also a main difference, i found it an experience that was hugley benificial. It was a good way to see the internal workings which is a huge part of being able to apply osteopathoc technique. BCOM are also the only osteo uni with a exercise physiology lab which allows research to be carried out so this could be an important factor if your are interested in the field of research. Whilst i am bias to BCOM i spend a reasonable amount of time at BSO as have friends there and it is a good uni too with ever improving facilities. Have you been to visit either uni? That can often be a good way to help decide which uni may be better. If you have any more questions about BCOM or osteopathy don't hesitate to ask.
