Hi there!
About april -09, it's the conversion course from DO to BSc. The Swedish college didn't get it's validation until we've got "to far" in our program, so no BSc for our class unfortunately. But that gives us a reson to got to the European "motherland" of Osteopathy. Looking forward to it.

Hi again Ross! I see you have an interest of MfTrP. I'm not a qualified osteopath yiet, but I have been working with neuromuscular and structural therapy for over ten years. I can see of your answers that you've allready have knowleigh and experience of MfTrP-treatment so my little contribution is probably not any great news. I consider all kind of inhibition of the TrP-location as nesessary. To reduce gamma afference of the involved muscle is of course a must for time efficiant TTT. Volentary, either isometric or low speed koncentric, antagonist activation can some times help. Or as the structural part of me whants to do; collect the fascia (in BMT modus) and performe an fascial unwinding while compressing the myofascial loci. This will decrease gamma and beta afferens and will allow rehydration in the aerea while you squees out all the ca2's/-kinins and so on. I never work only by compression because I don't find it time or patient efficiant.
I hope You don't see it as rude, for me to share my expriance.

Hei og takk! Hvor lenge var du i Stavanger? Du husker språket gott. Er selv egentli svensk men har bott i Norge siste 14 årene. Ser at du vurderer PhD program, dristigt! Hva vil du jobbe med?

Which PhD program are you considering at this point .... and do you have a series of research topics in mind for your thesis?

Oh and yes ... The balance of teaching, research and patients is an extremely rewarding one!

Dad and I say "hi!" Thank you for the nice comments.

Are you in private practice at this point in time ... or teaching ... or both?
