Groupon vouchers

Hello, all. I am recently qualified and just setting up on my own. I'm considering doing a Groupon promotion, whereby a package of treatment (probably three sessions) is offered to subscribers at a heavily discounted rate. Whilst it pays next to nothing, it does give the possibility of building up a client base relatively quickly, assuming that some patients will return for treatment at the full price, once they've had their initial three treatments. I wondered whether anyone else had tried this and what the level of uptake was, especially with regard to repeat business at the full price.

someone in the area has just go with groupon. it looks so tacky. and "£12 for an hour"! talk about devaluing your service. when i see him i'll offer him £15 an hour to valet my car.
