This introductory course is open to clinicians/practitioners interested in developing a more integrated approach to their respective
disciplines. We will cover the use of diagnostic investigations, such as blood and saliva tests, their functional and pathological
interpretation and development of appropriate management strategies for a variety of patient presentations.

Breath, regulating fundamental acid base physiology is critical to health and optimum performance. Many clinicians tend to focus on the
mechanics of breathing and often don’t include their knowledge of the underlying physiology and chemistry.

We will aim to improve diagnosis and give clinicians the tools to conduct a breathing evaluation and techniques to change patients’ breathing behaviour.

We will cover the principles behind optimizing patient biochemistry with nutritional intervention and also some hands on manual
treatment approaches to improve autonomic nervous system balance.
